Abstract

Each type of management knowledge has specific characteristics regarding what (ontology), how (epismology) and for what purpose (axiology) management knowledge is organized. The three are interrelated (systems). In management knowledge, philosophy essentially provides a set of knowledge (a body of related knowledge) to think effectively in solving management problems. This is the essence of management as a scientific discipline in solving organizational problems based on an intelligent approach. At first, management could not be said to be a theory because theory must consist of concepts that can systematically explain and predict what will happen and prove the predictions based on research. Having been studied for several centuries, management has qualified as a field of knowledge that systematically seeks to understand why and how people work together. The development of Islamic Education Management (MPI) science uses the development of an open development system, which means that MPI science is very open to scientific criticism from various scientific fields. By not abandoning the values ​​that have been built into MPI itself.
