Abstract

Abstract

Noble character means that an individual has knowledge of his or her own potential, characterized by values ​​such as being reflective, self-confident, rational, logical, critical, creative and innovative, independent, healthy, responsible, loves knowledge, patient, careful, willing to sacrifice, brave, trustworthy, honest, friendly, loves beauty, and has the awareness to do the best or excel, and the individual is also able to act according to his or her potential and awareness. Character is the realization of positive development as an individual (intellectual, emotional, social, ethical, and behavioral). An individual with good or superior character is someone who tries to do the best things for God, himself, the environment, the nation and state, and the international world in general by optimizing his potential or knowledge and accompanied by awareness, emotions, and motivation. The presence of Islam brought by the Prophet Muhammad is believed to be able to guarantee the realization of a prosperous human life both physically and mentally. In it there are various kinds of instructions on how humans should respond to life and this life more meaningfully in the broadest sense. Good morals are all praiseworthy behavior. Al-Ghazali uses the word "munjiyat" which means everything that gives victory or glory. Good morals are born from good qualities.
