PENERAPAN FILSAFAT ILMU DALAM PENGEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN TASAWUF

Abstrak

Philosophy and religion are supporting each other if it is understood well. They are not striking each other. Philosophy does not mean to answer all deep questions from people and does not mean to decide the ways people live. Philosophy provides intellectual facilities to solve problems and to answer questions naturally. The work of philosophy is directed to components that become pillars for the existence of knowledge, such as ontology, epistemology and axiology. Modern life, which supports people to live materialistic and hedonist, actually does not bring happiness but it is full of restlessness. So that it makes people get lack of spiritual. Modern people need knowledge of tashawuf which can guide them to real happiness. In order that tashawuf education can serve people based on its knowledge, so it needs to apply philosophy which focuses on each from its ontology, epistemology and axiology. Tashawuf is a theory which must be applied, performed and extended to all people trough education. There are certain distinctions in tashawuf education with other educations, either teachers or mursyid, students, material, methods or goals.
