PENGEMBANGAN KETERAMPILAN METAKOGNITIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS DAN KUANTITAS HAFALAN AL-QUR’AN SANTRI PROGRAM TAHFIDZUL QUR’AN PP AL-HIKMAH PUTRI
Abstract
Memorizing the Al-Qur'an is a very noble activity in the Islamic religion, considering that the Al-Qur'an is Kalamullah and the first source of the Islamic religion. Therefore, memorizing the Al-Qur'an has long been integrated into Islamic-based education, both in formal (school/madrasah) and non-formal (Islamic boarding school/TPQ) settings. In memorizing the Al-Qur'an there are many obstacles faced. The obstacles most often faced by the majority of memorizing the Qur'an are feelings of laziness and fluctuating motivation. This makes students have unclear goals and objectives in memorizing which will affect the quality and quantity of their memorization. Through the development of metacognitive skills, students will be guided to have a supportive thinking process, how to organize their thinking process, strategies to use to achieve goals, and their ability to evaluate themselves. Through metacognitive skills, it is hoped that students who memorize the Al-Qur'an will have strong intrinsic motivation in memorizing the Al-Qur'an.
