Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar PAI Melalui Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Jigsaw Pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Taman Harapan 2 Kota Bekasi
Abstract
This Study has mission to increase learning motivation in PAI learning by implementing Jigsaw type cooperative learning model to class VIII students at Taman Harapan 2 Middle School, Bekasi City. The classificatins of studied carried out is called Classroom Action Research (PTK). The process of implementing action research in the classroom takes place over a spesific period of time that called a cycle. Each series consists of four steps: planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The finding of this study proof that PAI learning motivation can be increased by introducing the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. This is supported by the observation that the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning process in Semester II produces learning outcomes that show improvement. Regarding student learning motivation, it increased from 50% in cycle I to 74% in cycle II. Regarding the implementation of the jigsaw learning model, the percentage increased from 55% in cycle I to 84% in cycle II. Motivation to learn using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model increased by 60% in cycle I and 83% in cycle II or 37%. According to the results, it is simply can said that the implementing of jigsaw model can increase the motivation to learn PAI for class VIII students at Taman Harapan 2 Middle School, Bekasi City.
