Abstract

This research was caused by a lack of student interest in learning and students' imaginative thoughts when explaining problems in PAI learning. Therefore, classroom action research will be carried out with the aim of developing interest in learning PAI in class X students at the Karawang Agricultural State Vocational School using the jigsaw-based cooperative learning method. The method used by researchers uses the classroom action method by collecting information in the form of observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The answer to this research resulted in a development from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, a standard value of 69.68 was obtained with a percentage size of 55.74%, which was included in the sufficient category, while in cycle II, an average value of 106.88 with a percentage of 85.50% was included in the very interested category. The average results of students' interest in learning from cycle I to cycle II showed an increase of 29.73%. This research can be said to be successful because the students have succeeded in following directions, are full of enthusiasm, and are proficient in speaking during the learning process.
