Abstract

Linguistic studies are one of the methods used to scientifically explain linguistic phenomena while maintaining the principles of objectivity and consistency in providing explanations. Experts in the field of linguistics divide the field of linguistic studies into two parts, namely the field of microlinguistics and the field of macrolinguistics. This study uses a type of library research (library study). This method is related to theoretical studies that are sourced from references or scientific literature. Multiple Intelligences (MI) or known as multiple intelligences is a theory discovered by Howard Gardner and his team. In its concept, the theory states that human intelligence is very varied and has several types, namely linguistic intelligence, spatial intelligence, musical intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, logical mathematical intelligence, natural intelligence and kinesthetic intelligence.
