Pengaruh Program Kelas Takhassus Terhadap Prestasi Akademik Peserta Didik Kelas VII Dan VIII SMPIT AlIrsyad Al-Islamiyyah Karawang
Abstract
The takhassus class program is a specialized class program at SMPIT Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah designed for students who wish to memorize the Qur'an, aiming to produce a generation that excels in Qur'anic knowledge, moral character, intelligence, creativity, and independence. This program is one of the religious fields aimed at improving the quality of reading and memorizing the Qur'an. By prioritizing achievements in the religious field, it is also possible for students in the takhassus class to excel academically and compete with other students in academic areas. This study was conducted to determine the influence of the takhassus class program on the academic achievement of students in grades VII and VIII at SMPIT Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Karawang. The method used in this research is the ex-post facto method, where the researcher aims to describe the takhassus class program in grades VII and VIII at SMPIT Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Karawang and then find out whether the program has an impact on the students' academic achievement. With a population of 120 students and a sample of 77 students, the results show a significant influence of the takhassus class program on the academic achievement of students in grades VII and VIII at SMPIT Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Karawang. This is evident from the results of a simple regression analysis using SPSS, where the regression equation test is Y = 26.794 + 0.532 X. From the regression significance test, a significance value of 0.000 was obtained, since the significance value is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means "There is an Influence of the Takhassus Class Program (X) on Academic Achievement (Y)". The R Square coefficient of determination value is 0.266. This value means that the influence of the Takhassus Class Program (X) on Academic Achievement (Y) is 26.6%, while 73.4% of Academic Achievement is influenced by other variables not studied.
