PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROYEK PADA MATA PELAJARAN PAI TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA DI SMA NEGERI 1 KOTA BENGKULU
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the influence of project-based learning methods on students' critical thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Bengkulu City. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experiment design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class which used project-based learning methods and the control class which used conventional methods. Data collection was carried out through critical thinking skills tests before and after treatment as well as observations during the learning process. The results showed that there was a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class compared to the control class. Statistical analysis using the t-test shows a significance value (p < 0.05), which means the project-based learning method has a positive influence on improving students' critical thinking skills in PAI subjects. Thus, this method is recommended as an effective learning strategy to improve the quality of students' understanding and analysis in PAI subjects
