EFEKTIVITAS METODE PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF DALAM MENINGKATKAN SKILL SPEAKING BAHASA INGGRIS DI KELAS IX-8 SMPN 18 KOTA BENGKULU
Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using interactive methods to improve English speaking skills in the learning process. Interactive method is an approach where students are actively involved in the learning process through direct interaction with learning materials, classmates, teachers, and the learning environment. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative method. With sources of information obtained through observations, surveys, and literature studies. The results showed that the interactive method used had a very good impact on the results of Englishspeaking skills and student learning outcomes. In this method, students are more free to speak English both to teachers and friends. The recommendation of this research is that the use of interactive methods can be done more widely in the learning process to increase the effectiveness and motivation for students in speaking English both in the learning process and outside of school, so that students can use the skills they already have and apply them in their daily lives
