REKSADANA SYARI’AH
Abstract
Reksadana syari’ah diperkenalkan pertama kali pada tahun 1995 oleh National Commercial Bank di Saudi Arabia dengan nama Global Trade Equity dengan kapitalisasi sebesar UU$ 150 juta. Sedangkan di Indonesia reksadana syari’ah diperkenalkan pertama kali pada tahun 1998 oleh PT Danareksa Investment Management, di mana pada saat itu PT Danareksa mengeluarkan produk reksadana berdasarkan prinsip syari’ah berjenis reksadana campuran yang dinamakan dana reksadana syari’ah berimbang berjenis.Reksadana dalam fikih mengandung pengertian sebagai reksadana yang pengelolaan dan kebijakan investasinya mengacu pada syari’at Islam. reksadana syari’ah sebagai reksadana yang beroperasi menurut ketentuan dan prinsip syari’ah Islam, baik dalam akad antara pemodal sebagai milik harta dengan Manajer Investasi sebagai wakil shahib al-mal, maupun antara Manajer Investasi sebagai wakil shahib al-mal dengan pengguna investasi.Reksadana pada umumnya sebagai wadah yang dipergunakan untuk menghimpun dana dari masyarakat pemodal untuk selanjutnya diinvestasikan dalam bentuk portofolio efek (saham, obligasi, valuta asing atau deposito) oleh manajer investasi.
