POLA KEPEMIMPINAN KH. IMAM FAQIH SUDJA’, MSI DALAM MENCETAK GENERASI QUR’ANI DI PONDOK PESANTREN MODEL AL-ISTIQOMAH
Abstract
Abstract:Islamic boarding school is one of the forerunners and pillars of education in Indonesia, in addition to general education and madrasa. Islamic education (Islamic boarding school) has begun since Islam entered Indonesia. To advance the islamic boarding school towards the modernization of Islamic education, the role of leadership occupies a very important and fundamental position. The importance of leadership in islamic boarding school is to bring change to Islamic educational institutions (islamic boarding school) on progress. Because the key to success in an Islamic educational institution (islamic boarding school) lies in its leadership. The islamic boarding school has experienced dynamics, so that the islamic boarding school is broadly classified into two namely traditional and modern islamic boarding school. The education system and changing patterns in pesantren are responses to socio-economic changes and modernization of Islamic education to the community. As an educational institution that is well-known among the people, the presence of pesantren is expected to be able to make changes in the community by creating students as people who have leadership, serve the community and noble character. Thus, the existence of pesantren can be recognized and not considered lost in modern times Keywords: islamic boarding school, leadership, traditional and modern, Abstrak: Pesantren merupakan salah satu cikal bakal dan pilar pendidikan di Indonesia, selain pendidikan umum dan madrasah. Pendidikan Islam (pesantren) telah dimulai sejak Islam masuk ke Indonesia untuk memajukan pesantren terhadap modernisasi pendidikan Islam, peran kepemimpinan menempati posisi yang sangat penting dan fundamental. Pentingnya kepemimpinan dalam pesantren yaitu untuk membawa perubahan pada lembaga pendidikan Islam (pesantren) pada kemajuan karena kunci sukses pada suatu lembaga pendidikan Islam (pesantren) terletak pada kepemimpinannya. Pesantren telah mengalami dinamika, sehingga secara garis besar pesantren digolongkan menjadi dua, yaitu pesantren tradisional dan pesantren modern. Sistem pendidikan dan perubahan pola di pesantren merupakan respon terhadap perubahan sosial ekonomi dan modernisasi pendidikan Islam kepada masyarakat. Sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang terkenal di kalangan masyarakat, kehadiran pesantren diharapkan mampu untuk melakukan perubahan-perubahan di lingkungan masyarakat dengan mewujudkan santri-santri sebagai sosok yang mempunyai jiwa kepemimpinan, mengabdi kepada masyarakat dan akhlak mulia.Sehingga, keberadaan pesantren dapat diakui dan tidak dianggap hilang di zaman modern.
