Abstract

Curriculum, as a structured and systematic plan of learning, has become the foundation of any educational system. This document not only details the subject matter to be taught, but also outlines the learning objectives, teaching methods, and evaluation procedures to be followed. In the context of Islamic education, the Qur'an, as the main source of teachings, plays a central role in formulating a holistic and relevant curriculum. The purpose of this article is to examine the Qur'anic view of the curriculum. Thematically, Qur'anic verses that implicitly discuss the curriculum will be excluded and their interpretations will be explained. This paper is expected to contribute to the development of a more relevant and meaningful Islamic education curriculum. The writing of this article uses a literature review approach to data collection. Therefore, this article will conduct an in-depth study of various sources such as the Al-Quran, Hadith, classical and contemporary books on the Quranic view of the curriculum, as well as the works of Islamic education experts. After the review, based on the content of thematic Qur'anic verses, it can be understood that the values mandated by Allah Swt. in the Qur'an are very relevant to the demands of education in this era in relation to the discussion of the educational curriculum. One of them is related to the demands of students' competencies regarding the ability of the 4 Cs (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication and Collaboration).
