Strategi Lembaga Amil Zakat dalam Memberdayakan Ekonomi Umat (Studi di Lembaga Amil Zakat Nurul Hayat Cabang Jember)

Abstract
This research aims at describing strategy amil zakat institution to empower mustahiq’s life. Strategy in amil zakat institutions means the activity of funding zakat and the efforts to empower mustahiq. The research describes Yayasan Nurul Hayat Jember in their strategy to empower his recipients of zakat. The research is a qualitative study. The data are collected through three stages: interview, observation, and documentation. The data in this study consists of two parts: primary and secondary. The collected data are analyzed by using descriptive method and validated by using triangulation technique. The findings show that Nurul Hayat Jember is a quite professional zakat institution. Zakat in Nurul Hayat Jember is collected through direct and indirect fundraising. the efforts done by Nurul Hayat Jember are classified into two ways, first is to give the financial capital and by giving education scholarship.References
