Author Guidelines

MIQLAMAH, a journal that has been published twice a year since 2015, focuses on Arabic Research Education and is available in multiple languages (Indonesian, English, and Arabic). It is a peer-reviewed publication aimed at enhancing readers' comprehension of the history and contemporary advancements in Arabic Education. Through the dissemination of articles, research reports, and book reviews, the journal aims to offer valuable insights into the subject matter.

Scholars and experts from various disciplines within Arabic Education are encouraged to contribute original, research-based articles to the journal. Submitted papers must be previously unpublished and not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions undergo rigorous evaluation by the editors, editorial board, and blind reviewers. Papers failing to adhere to formatting or length guidelines will be rejected outright.

Articles submitted for publication should be written in Indonesian, English, or Arabic and range between approximately 3000-6000 words, encompassing text, tables, figures, notes, references, and appendices. Each submission must include a 150-200 word abstract along with 3 keywords. Any quotations, passages, or terms in languages other than the submission language must be translated into English.

Citations

Citations must be integrated into the text, and the journal adheres to the Turabian 8th edition style for bibliographic references. Authors are encouraged to utilize Mendeley or Zotero for managing references, which can aid in the submission process.

Romanization of Arabic (Arabic to Latin Transliteration)

Writing Arabic text to Roman letters must comply with applicable guidelines.
