Abstract

Buying and selling activities in everyday life are inseparable from the activities of all people in the world, it is based on human's natural instincts, namely, that humans must be able to fulfill their needs for the sake of their survival in the world. Along with the times, especially in the field of technology there are many kinds of ways shared by humans in transactions or buying and selling, From what had to be done face to face directly between sellers and buyers, in the era of information and communication technology advancements such as today, selling activities buy no longer requires face to face directly, but enough with just the internet network. Buying and selling transactions between sellers and buyers based on the internet are known as e-commerce (Nimda, 2012). In Indonesia alone, trading activities carried out with the e-commerce model have relatively high demand. Based on data released by CupoNation, in 2018 the number of consumers from the practice of buying and selling using this e-commerce model reached 11.9% of the total population of Indonesia (Putera, 2018). The high level of public interest in the e-commerce trading model is indeed supported by several positive benefits from e-commerce itself. From the point of view of Sharia Transactions and Buying, in fact it is already regulated in Islam, starting from the transaction method, terms of sale and purchase to the contract in the sale and purchase, all are clearly regulated in Islamic jurisprudence which is a reference in transactions and buying and selling, in this Study focus on what e-commerce, definitions and types of e-commerce, also explain how to transact sharia.
