PEMIKIRAN KHURSHID AHMAD TENTANG DISTRIBUSI KEKAYAAN DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP EKONOMI KONTEMPORER

Abstract

This study aims to examine Khurshid Ahmad’s perspective on wealth distribution in Islamic economics and its implications for contemporary economic dynamics. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach by analyzing various relevant literature related to Khurshid Ahmad’s ideas. The findings indicate that wealth distribution, according to Khurshid Ahmad, emphasizes the principles of justice, economic balance, and social responsibility within the economic system. Islamic economic instruments such as zakat, infaq, and sadaqah play an important role in reducing economic inequality and promoting a more equitable distribution of welfare. These ideas remain relevant to contemporary economic conditions, particularly as an alternative framework for developing a more just economic system oriented toward social welfare.
