PEMBELAJARAN QOWAID BAHASA ARAB DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE TAMYIZ SISWA KELAS VI MIN 1 TULUNGAGUNG
Abstract
This study is prompted by the low level of mastery of Qowaid (Arabic grammar) among sixth-grade students at MIN 1 Tulungagung, which is attributed to the use of conventional instructional methods that are insufficiently effective. The study seeks to enhance students’ Qowaid competence through the implementation of the Tamyiz method, as well as to examine its instructional procedures, strengths, and limitations. A descriptive qualitative research design was employed, with sixth-grade students of MIN 1 Tulungagung serving as the research subjects. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the Tamyiz method is implemented through several instructional stages, including greetings, singing activities, material presentation, sentence-level application, practice exercises, collaborative discussion, and lesson closure. The method demonstrates several advantages, such as its applicability across educational levels, the simplification of instructional content, and the use of mnemonic techniques to support learning. However, it also presents certain limitations, including students’ difficulty in comprehending the meaning of the songs, the rapid tempo of song delivery, and students’ dependence on singing to recall the material.
