Abstract

when influencing others. Through the leadership style of a leader, he will transfer several values ​​such as group emphasis, support from people/employees, risk tolerance, reward criteria, and so on. In school management, as a complex and unique institution, the principal is involved in the input, process (institutional management), and output (output). Of the three things, the process is the responsibility of the school. The success or failure of an educational institution is largely determined by the creation of the principal's leadership. The choice of system and leadership approach used by a manager or superior to motivate employees depends on the type of manager. In addition, which cannot be ignored are other situational factors. Management deals with and at the same time take care of people, not things. So if management is carried out without values, commitment, and belief, it will not produce essence, it can lead to disaster.
