MOTIVASI ORGANISASI: Penerapan Teori Maslow, McGregor, Frederick Herzberg dan McLelland

Abstract

Several theories of motivation explain that a person's motivation in an organization can be influenced by several factors. Among these theories are Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, McGregor's theory of X and Y factors, Frederick Herzberg's two-factor theory, and McLelland's needs theory. Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory explains that physiological needs, safety, love, esteem, and self-actualization affect a person's motivation, if these needs have been met, one's motivation will be higher, but the reality is sometimes not the same, there is also someone who has received guarantees for these needs. but also still has low enthusiasm or motivation, still does not show responsibility for his work. Motivation is the drive, though, and enthusiasm that makes a person perform a certain action. While work motivation is something that creates enthusiasm and encouragement to work. There are several theories of motivation including Maslow's theory of needs, theory X, Y, theory of McGregor, McClelland, and others, all of which answer how motivation is studied from their point of view and its application in organizational life. The use of several ways or strategies can make a solution so that employee motivation in the organization increases. It also cannot be separated from the influence of a manager in the organization.
