Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Islamic Religious Education curriculum at SMAI Al-Azhar 17 Karawang, starting from planning, implementation and evaluation. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview and document analysis techniques. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded, among others: 1) That the Al- Azhar International Curriculum is a curriculum that is equalized in Al-Azhar with the aim of guiding and directing students so that they can continue their education in college. 2) The materials provided in Al-Azhar Islamic Religious Education curriculum are religion, Al-Qur'an, Arabic, Tahfizh, Akidah and others. 3) In Al-Azhar School, there are four main methods used in learning Islamic Religious Education, namely lectures, discussions, presentations, and practices. 4) There are three evaluation methods used in Al-Azhar School, namely tests, oral and practical.
