Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TGT (Teams Games Tournament) Pada Pembelajaran PAI Kelas IV di SDN Karawang Wetan IV
Abstract
This research investigates the use of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) material on Prophet's Stories in class IV at SDN Karawang Wetan IV. The main aim of the research is to find out how effective the TGT model is in improving student learning outcomes. In addition, this research found supporting and hindering components of the TGT model. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) was conducted on 55 students. The study was carried out in two cycles, with planning, action, observation and reflection as its components. The research results showed that student learning outcomes increased significantly. The average N-Gain value increased from 0.63% (medium) in cycle I to 0.82% (high) in cycle II. In addition, student learning activity increased from 67.35% (high) in cycle I to 88.74% (very high) in cycle II. This increase shows that the TGT model functions well to increase student participation and their learning outcomes. This research really improves the quality of PAI learning and can help teachers use better and more enjoyable learning strategies.
