Pemikiran Pendidikan Abdul Mukti Ali dan Relevansinya dengan Dunia Modern

Abstract

This study examines the educational thoughts of A. Mukti Ali, which aims to find out his educational thoughts with the modern world. To achieve this goal, this study uses a type of library research with a qualitative approach with the aim of obtaining more in-depth data to develop theories and describe the quality under study.The findings show that A. Mukti Ali was an intellectual who distanced himself from politics so that in his time he was appointed Minister of Religion for two terms and was dubbed the father of inter-religious harmony. And in terms of education, he himself has been recognized by his friends so that he himself opened the department of comparative religions at UIN Sunan Kalijaga and even today we still feel it.
