NILAI-NILAI TRADISI ISLAM DALAM TRADISI NGIJING PADA UPACARA SLAMETAN NYEWU

Abstract

This research explains how the implementation of the Ngijing tradition in Jatirejo Jumapolo Karanganyar village at the Nyewu Selametan Ceremony is a series of past histories that contain moral values ​​that can be used as guidelines in everyday life. By looking at the current reality, namely the entry of external cultures which can have a positive or negative impact, it is necessary to re-invest moral values ​​through existing traditions. In addition, it is also to document it so that this tradition is not lost to the times. The purpose of this research is to explain the background of the implementation of the Ngijing Tradition at the Selametan Nyewu Ceremony and to explain Islamic values ​​in the Ngijing tradition at the Selametan Nyewu ceremony and to explain Islamic values ​​in the Ngijing tradition which influence the religious behavior of the Jatirejo hamlet community.   Keywords: Ilsam Tradition Values, Ngijing Tradition
