Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the teacher's teaching style on students' interest in learning in PAI subjects at SDN Mancilan 1 Mojoagung Jombang. The independent variable in this study is the teacher's teaching style (X) and the dependent variable is the student's interest in learning (Y).

This study uses a quantitative approach and the type of research is causality. The sample consisted of 30 students consisting of all classes IV-B. The teacher's teaching style data was obtained from the questionnaire distribution and the PAI learning interest data was taken from the distribution of student questionnaires for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. Technical analysis of the data using product moment correlation.

From the results of the analysis with SPSS version 20, the correlation coefficient value is 0.283 with a significant value of 0.129. Because the significance > 0.05 then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. This means that there is no influence of the teacher's teaching style on students' interest in learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SDN Mancilan 1 Mojoagung Jombang.
