Abstract
The quality of Human Resources (HR) is very important for the success of educational institutions. Educational institutions need competent human resources to create an effective and efficient work environment. However, getting quality human resources is quite difficult, especially for non-profit educational institutions which often face financial constraints. Therefore, an appropriate selection and placement system is needed to attract and retain quality human resources.This research was conducted using a qualitative approach to examine the selection, placement and development of human resources in Islamic education institutions in Sumenep Regency. The method used is literature study, by analyzing literature related to HR management in Islamic education. The focus of this research is how recruitment produces human resources according to needs, how appropriate placement maximizes human potential, and how continuous development improves their performance.The three main stages in HR management are selection, placement and development. The right selection process selects candidates according to the needs of the institution. Placement of human resources based on expertise ensures they can work optimally. Human resource development improves their competencies and skills.Managing HR is a challenge because it involves people with different characteristics, personalities and needs. Leader skills are very important for managing the motivation and thinking of human resources to work together to achieve organizational goals.This research is expected to contribute to thinking about HR management in educational institutions and is important for students of Islamic Education Management as a first step in understanding HR management which continues to develop.Downloads
