Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has driven a radical paradigm shift from conventional Human Resource Management (HRM) toward adaptive and modern HRM in the Industry 5.0 era. Distinguishing itself from Industry 4.0 which heavily focused on automation, Industry 5.0 champions a human-centric philosophy that reinstates humans at the center of innovation. This paper aims to analyze the transformation of modern HRM, future competency development models, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and People Analytics, and organizational strategies in addressing various contemporary issues such as hybrid working and employee well-being. The method employed is a descriptive literature review, examining various regulations, global reports, and scientific journals. The discussion highlights that AI implementation and HR digitalization significantly enhance administrative efficiency and the accuracy of evidence-based management. However, the adoption of smart technology also triggers critical challenges, including digital skill gaps, transformational workloads, and issues regarding ethics and data privacy. This paper concludes that the success of modern HRM in the Industry 5.0 era is determined not merely by technology adoption, but by a symbiotic balance between advanced digital systems (augmented intelligence) and human capital capacity building through continuous upskilling and reskilling cycles, psychologically safe work environments, and human-centered leadership. Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat mendorong pergeseran paradigma Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM) konvensional menuju MSDM modern yang adaptif di era Industri 5.0. Berbeda dengan Industri 4.0 yang berfokus pada otomatisasi, Industri 5.0 mengusung filosofi human-centricity yang menempatkan manusia kembali sebagai pusat inovasi. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis transformasi MSDM modern, model pengembangan kompetensi masa depan, integrasi Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan People Analytics, serta strategi organisasi dalam menghadapi berbagai isu kontemporer seperti kerja hibrida (hybrid working) dan kesejahteraan karyawan (employee well-being). Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur deskriptif dengan menelaah berbagai regulasi, laporan global, dan jurnal ilmiah. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa implementasi AI dan digitalisasi HR secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dan akurasi pengambilan keputusan berbasis bukti (evidence-based management). Namun, adopsi teknologi cerdas ini memicu tantangan berupa kesenjangan kompetensi digital (digital skill gap), beban kerja ganda (transformational workload), serta isu etika dan privasi data. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan MSDM modern di era Industri 5.0 tidak hanya ditentukan oleh adopsi teknologi cerdas, melainkan oleh keseimbangan simbiotik antara kecanggihan sistem digital (augmented intelligence) dengan penguatan kapasitas modal insani melalui siklus upskilling dan reskilling, lingkungan kerja yang aman secara psikologis, serta kepemimpinan yang berpusat pada manusia (human-centered leadership).
