Abstract

Abstract

The most effective inculcation of multiculturalism values ​​is through education, in this case one of which is by applying education and instilling multicultural values ​​to respond to cultural diversity by offering democracy, equality, independence, and diversity in an approach. Multicultural education brings every level of society to feel recognized, valued, treated democratically and appropriately despite cultural differences. The ideal indication is the willingness to accept and respect other groups of ethnic, gender, and religious and cultural affiliation. Multicultural education emerges as a bond, relationship, security and guarantor for the continuity of pluralism. It is intended for the creation of harmony among fellow human beings with definite differences between them. In fact, the core values ​​of multicultural education have in common with the core values ​​contained in the teachings of Islam related to relationships between people. Thus, the teachings of Islam that are applied to Islamic education in general contain multicultural values.
