Abstract
KH. Mohammad Hasyim Asy’ari thought about the student’s ethic can be classified into three categories (a) The student’s ethic to their selves. Such as, fixing their aim in studying, serious in studying, having qona’ah, can manage the time, wara’, keep the relationship, etc. (b) The teacher’s ethic to the student. Such as, obey all of the teacher’s instruction , understand the teacher’s right, respect to the teachers, etc. (c) The teacher’s ethic to the lesson, include give priority to the fardha ‘ain knowledge, studying Al-Qur’an, be careful in studying deviation of scholars’, always attend the lesson if there are not obstacles.
