Abstrak

his research focuses on three things, namely what is the role of the visionary leadership of the madrasa head in developing the quality of educators at MI International Sabilillah Sampang, then what is the urgency of the visionary leadership of the madrasa head in developing the quality of educators at MI International Sabilillah Sampang, and what are the challenges and obstacles to the visionary leadership of the madrasa head in developing the quality of educators at MI International Sabilillah Sampang. The research method used is qualitative, with a descriptive type as a data source. Collecting data using observation techniques, interviews, and data documentation. Visionary leadership role of the madrasa head includes; Recruit educators according to their fields and at a minimum all of them must be strata I and recruit based on subject teachers, MI International Sabilillah Sampang national boarding madrasa that implements an international quality education system where this madrasa implements the national plus curriculum, namely a combination of the curriculum of the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Religion plus the curriculum which is the flagship program of the madrasa, the head of the madrasa maintains the performance of the teaching staff by approaching educators emotionally, especially to educators whose performance is declining, the head of the madrasa conducts both personal and individual evaluations once a week, namely on Saturdays, what are the problems or deficiencies are resolved at that time, or find a solution at that time too. 2) Visionary leadership of the madrasa head, namely; Putting forward the vision and mission of the madrasa, the head of the madrasa royal sends educators to take part in training education, such as technical guidance, workshops and so on, the leadership of the madrasa head as an educator, innovator, supervisor and also a motivator.
